Watching porn is bad for men, but not harmful for women
Men watch more pornographic materials than women. This is as certain as the fact that the sun always rises in the east. However, research shows that unrestricted access to online pornography may be destructive to the sex lives of men, but not women. These new findings come from two separate studies conducted by Dr. Matthew Christman, lead urologist at Naval Medical Center San Diego.

Findings from a study on the relative long-term effects of pornography on the sexual health and intimate behavior of men and women were presented at the 112th annual meeting of the American Urological Association. The first study focused on women aged 20–40, most of whom were white, married, heterosexual, and had served in the military. About 40% of them reported that they sometimes watch pornography, with a quarter of respondents doing so less than once a week. However, no matter how much time they spent watching the videos, no negative effects or sexual dysfunction were found.

The second study was more surprising. It involved 312 men of the same age and with similar demographics. About 20% of these men reported watching pornography three to five times a week, and 4% reported preferring to masturbate during pornographic activities with their real-life partners.
There are some obvious limitations here because these studies look at a very narrow group. However, it”s nice to think that for once women can enjoy something comfortable without worrying about the consequences. But men shouldn”t panic either. The vast resource of online adult entertainment available from time to time may do little to ruin your sex life.
