Men underestimate how much women want sex.
This is according to scientists from two Canadian universities. The results of a study published in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology show that the traditional sitcom “wisdom” about a wife”s inability to satisfy her husband”s insatiable sexual appetite is a figment of the male imagination.
Psychologists from the University of Toronto and the University of Ontario studied 229 North American couples (mostly heterosexual). All spouses were between 18 and 68 years old and had been married for at least six years. According to the information they provided about themselves, all couples had sex once or twice a week.
For 21 days, the participants were asked to fill out a diary and answer three simple questions. Do their couples want this? Are they satisfied with the quality of their relationship today?
