Rivers and springs fed the beautiful Nages. In dangerous gorges and mountains, dangerous jungles, Oreads, and Odotiads lurked. In the valleys, the Greeks hoped to see Nanenes and pods. The Arseids lived in the fields. In the village of Vudi, the curious were not sought after by the Dryads and Hamadas. And in St. Petersburg, apparently, there is a capital called Ziad—these nymphs rule the rains.
Nymphs and gods
Nymphs are gods and other deities, heroes of Greek mythology, and even people (some lucky ones!) who had sexual intercourse with them.

Odysseus and the Sirens
