How do those who decide to get married without sex cope with the lack of intimate satisfaction? More than half (51%) said they try to focus their time and energy elsewhere, such as developing friendships or focusing on work, fitness or hobbies. In addition, many reported that they were looking for alternative sexual options. For example, 79% reported that they masturbate, 13-14% tried cybersex or phone sex, 26% admitted that they had sex and changed regular partners.
