Scientists from the University of Wisconsin set out to study gender differences in sexuality. And they got a completely different picture. Statistical methods were used to analyze the results of more than 500 studies conducted between 1943 and 2007. The results were then combined with the findings of other American and Australian scientists. Therefore, there is no doubt about the reliability and reliability of the data obtained. What did the Americans discover? It turns out that there really are gender differences in sexual problems between men and women. However, in practice they are not as large as is commonly believed. Therefore, the opposition Venus — Mars, in fact, is only a poetic comparison. This dichotomy does not reflect the real state of affairs.
Are men more frivolous with sex? Not at all
One common myth is that men will jump into bed with almost any interested little cute woman. However, girls are more closely tied to partner choice. As a result, society believes that men should have more sexual intercourse than women. Gender differences in this regard are really important among young teenagers and people aged 20-25 years. However, over time the differences become less pronounced. Adults of both sexes have approximately the same number of sexual partners. Male respondents do report slightly more mistresses, but these differences are not significant enough to be taken into account.
