The Magical Effects of Yoga on Sexual Power and Satisfaction

To confirm or refute these serious claims, researchers observed 60 men and women aged 24 to 60 who practiced yoga for 12 weeks. They were then asked to rate the quality of their sex lives. Participants were unaware of what they were being tested for (they were also asked other questions unrelated to their gender). This approach helped obtain more accurate results but wasn”t masked by “induction” and self-hypnosis.
Among other questions, when the researchers asked about their current sex lives, everyone reported a significant improvement in their intimate life. How does yoga impact this? Numerous studies have already established that yoga reduces stress, blood pressure, and cholesterol, improves well-being, controls type 2 diabetes, promotes deep relaxation, and helps with weight management.
Statement from Korean Scientists
Recent studies by Korean scientists have demonstrated the effectiveness of yoga specifically for women. The study involved women aged 30 to 60 diagnosed with metabolic syndrome. This condition carries a very high risk of developing diabetes and heart disease.
By comparison, they had high cholesterol, triglycerides (blood fats), high blood pressure and blood sugar, and perineal obesity. Previous studies have shown that the risk of diabetes, heart disease, and sexual dysfunction increases with increasing severity of metabolic syndrome.
Twenty women practiced yoga twice a week for 12 weeks. The rest did not. The yoga classes included two dozen standard yoga poses, including standing forward bends (Uttanasana), seated forward bends (Paschimottanasana), triangle pose (Trikonasana), and corpse pose (Shavasana).

After an intensive three-month course, participants noticed clear improvements in the following areas: reductions in cholesterol, triglycerides, blood sugar and blood pressure, as well as significant increases in sexual arousal, vaginal lubrication, overall sexual function and satisfaction.
This was a small study and cannot be considered completely valid. However, this is another brick in the growing edifice that shows that yoga can reverse sexual problems and help improve lovemaking. Similar results were found in a study conducted among men.

In addition to all of the above, yoga helps relieve muscle tension, improve blood circulation and reduce stress levels. It”s easy to get started, even if you”re not a sports fan. Relatively high activity is not required. In addition to “boring” strength and mechanical exercises, yoga helps you dive into yourself, discover a new “palette” of your personality and begin to live in harmony with yourself and others.
If you want to do yoga just to improve your sex life, it is not a panacea. Regular and moderate exercise programs that promote stress reduction, deep relaxation, increased fitness, flexibility, endurance and balance are most likely to produce the desired effects. Examples include dancing, gardening, cycling and swimming.
