Your sex life depends to a certain extent on your character. Sexologists have accumulated a large body of research identifying the connection between personality traits and sexual relationships, behavior and health. These findings were recently summarized in a meta-analysis published in the journal Psychological Bulletin.

The problems of marriage, and not only infidelity, are acutely and actively discussed in society. Many people condemn this behavior, while others accept and support it.
Many of the results were quite predictable. Thus, extroverts tended to be the most sexually active and the most likely to cheat (their extroverted nature likely makes them more likely to find sexual opportunities). Curious people often agreed to sexual experiments. Neurotics (emotionally unstable) were less sexually satisfied, regardless of the number of times they had sex. Caring-oriented and highly meticulous (detail-oriented) people tended to be much less likely to cheat on their partners.
However, according to the study”s authors, in most cases, those who talked about problems in relationships with their regular partners decided to cheat. Therefore, extroverts prefer to remain faithful if they are completely satisfied with the relationship with their loved one.
