How effective is sex therapy against headaches?

We”ve all heard from our other half that “today is different, I have a headache” when we”ve already listened to their intimate and playful mannerisms. But to no avail, they refuse! It turns out that sex is an effective pain reliever for migraines.
Neuroscientists from the University of Munich wondered why one of the most common reasons for refusing the pleasures of lovemaking is headaches. An interesting experiment involved about 400 patients with two types of pain: migraine and cluster (unilateral) pain. The results of the study were later published in a local scientific journal. More than half of migraine patients noticed a significant improvement in how they felt, even during sex, and that they no longer experienced pain after orgasm. In the case of cluster headaches, everything is much more complicated — they become even more intense during such a pleasant pastime and turn it into torture.

How often do you hear your partner say, “I have a headache, not today”? Often? Few people know, but when a person has a headache, he must give in.
All this is very simply explained. Physical pleasure and the accompanying moral satisfaction cause a powerful surge of endorphins in the body. These “happiness hormones” relieve stress, improve a person’s overall well-being and mood, and have a positive effect on his appearance. Sex can also be a good alternative to aerobic training — comfortable and useful during the process:
Don”t give up on lovemaking because of headaches — you can combine business with pleasure, and your health will definitely improve! And if your significant other complains of migraines and still does not want to be actively treated in bed, do not insist and do not be offended. You can carefully transfer the problem to foreplay, and the appetite will come on its own while eating.
