Funny Sexual Taboos Around the World
Many countries have a variety of interesting traditions. There are no exceptions—and some sexual taboos sometimes evoke unwelcome smiles. Today, I’ll share some of those cases.
Recently, men in Iran were banned from selling livestock on the streets. The authorities have never done so out of compassion for animals or fear of being liable to a trade tax. Defenders of this strict state law claim that young men are “trying to have uncontrolled relationships with girls.” Thus, the fluff of pretty sticks will no longer tempt local beauties to chat with local gentlemen (or worse).
In Ghana, girls are recognized as adults at 18. If a representative of the fair sex becomes pregnant prematurely, the expectant fathers are obliged to “compensate for moral damages” to their parents in the form of $50, a sheep, and a bottle of gin. It seems that this is nothing more than a “wedding set.” $50 US isn’t enough for a bride’s outfit, but neither are the guests after a roast lamb with gin.
In general, there are many interesting laws regarding minors. Here in Indiana, there are still statutes allowing a man to rape a girl under 17 if she’s sitting up or in a saloon without supplies. Forgive me, but if a queen in Frank’s stocking is bearing down on you, and in old German porn films, socks seem harder to resist if they’re not in anyone’s way, it’s a shame.
In some US states, the old law hasn’t yet been repealed, now raising only eyebrows. For example, in Iowa, oral sex is still prohibited, and in Kentucky, married couples are not allowed to bathe together.
However, other countries have gone further, maintaining the ancient statute. Mongolian law still has provisions requiring women to go bare-breasted. This is done to prevent criminals from hiding behind the guise of honest women. Unfortunately, young women today ignore this law. She would arrest them all and force them to comply.

However, activists supporting the law point to an unpleasant incident involving a Kansas police officer who forced sex on a woman and threatened her with arrests and fines.
This is surprising, and where is the “consent” in this case? Thus, sexual taboos in some countries seem quite funny. But they are not written by humorists and often there are real cases of such pleasure, which greatly upsets lovers.
