You can begin to read a person”s personality during longer conversations. Discussing hobbies, political preferences, spiritual status, and life goals can help determine the compatibility of two people. This doesn”t take up anyone”s time and somewhat reduces the excitement of personal contact. However, long pauses can backfire. This can create the impression that the person is very indecisive. AskMen representative Datin Nerd says that ideally, a date should be scheduled within a few days of the initial spark of attraction. “That”s because if she”s attractive enough, her dating profile will be full of men complimenting her. But a long conversation suggests you”re a sly fox who doesn”t want to take any risks. You need to show her you”re determined,” he adds.
