The 810 men who took part in the study were asked to read a story in which they imagined themselves having sex with an attractive woman. Not surprisingly, men became more masculine and reported higher sexual self-esteem when they imagined a woman reaching orgasm during sex. These results suggest that female orgasm is, at least in part, a reward for men,” the researchers wrote.
