Why don”t most women have orgasms?

Numbers
The study analyzed an impressive database of approximately 52, 588 American adults. More precisely:
- 26, 032 heterosexuals
- 1, 002 gay and bisexual men
- 1, 452 bisexual women and lesbians
- 24, 102 heterosexual women
As usual, the percentage of men who regularly achieve orgasm was off the charts—94%. Far fewer women embrace life (sex)—68%. The researchers then decided to divide the women into groups based on sexual orientation. Thus, only lesbians can compete with men in terms of sexual success. They outnumber heterosexual women by 20%. For bisexual women, everything is quite trivial—most subjects had sex with men more often than with women. And this is because they lag far behind the happy lesbians. Lesbians were much luckier in all respects—they were regularly pampered with direct clitoral stimulation (manual stimulation, oral sex), long kisses, sensual massages, and tender declarations of love.

Demographics
Previously, when studying female orgasm, researchers paid more attention to demographic and psychological factors.
- Population factors. With increasing age, education, and income, a woman”s likelihood of achieving orgasm increases.
- Beliefs. Women who hold more liberal religious and social views are somewhat more likely to experience orgasm than women who adhere to religious fundamentalism and traditional gender roles (women as housewives).
- Relationships. Women in happier relationships experience orgasm more often.
- Sexual trauma. Women who have experienced incest, sexual assault, or other horrific experiences are more likely to experience difficulty achieving orgasm.
