Professor Nicolas Gueguen conducted a study to explain the influence of red on people. Five 20-year-old women were presented as hitchhikers wearing T-shirts of different colors (black, white, red, blue, green, or yellow). It was found that male leaders responded more to the women dressed in red. In the study, the drivers indicated that red is associated with eroticism, passion, and beauty.
