Everything becomes more attractive when you masturbate

“Golden shower” or legs — do they attract you? Do you consider women”s shoes erotic? Most people say it”s not about them. However, asking people these questions during times of high sexual arousal, such as during masturbation, can change things.

One piece of evidence that preferences may be changing comes from a study by Ariley and Lowenstein published in the Journal of Behavioral Decision Making. Thirty-five heterosexual male students took part in the study. They had to answer 20 questions about sex in two states: calm and close to orgasm. As a result, only one question (“Do you like having sex with the lights on?”) was answered the same (negatively) by participants in both conditions.

It seems like every time another video game becomes a major hit, pornography inspired by that game appears in the world. This phenomenon has begun.

Surprisingly, participants found that sexual ideas typically considered wild, such as fantasies about women urinating, became arousing during masturbation. Of the 19 images that subjects considered attractive, only sex with a member of the same sex caused a small change in preference. In other words, 18 out of 20 things or phenomena that do not excite men under normal conditions were able to arouse strong sexual desire during masturbation.

These results largely coincide with the results of another study conducted by Charmaine Borg and Peter Jay De Jong, which studied women. Participants were asked to perform the awkward act of placing their hand in a bowl filled with “used” condoms.

These studies show that sexual arousal can change our preferences. We can also draw important conclusions. We are not always good at recognizing changes in our own worldview.
