Meat tastes better if it is cooked over a fire. It was precisely this kind of knowledge, obtained by primitive methods of scientific poking, that was a sign of intelligence. At that time there was no difference in the intelligence of men and women. They were forced to look for solutions to many pressing problems. “Close” people certainly believe that intelligence and education are one and the same concept. However, in order to learn how to solve a particular problem, it is not enough to simply fill your head with knowledge. There is a famous saying: “Being smart and being a good student are two different things.” And this is the correct way to look at things. There are many educated people with several degrees and high IQ levels, but at the same time they are unhappy, do not have decent jobs and only a few realize their genius. This situation can be considered with an example. A person who has graduated from a higher educational institution works in an organization where he receives a fixed salary.
He is educated and understands many areas of activity well enough to consider himself smart. However, his salary. not maximum. At the same time, there is a woman who was not particularly burdened with education, neither at school nor at university. And yet somehow she ends up rich and lives a dignified and happy life without having any special knowledge. Who would be wiser in this situation? What good is a mass of knowledge that cannot be applied? The woman in this example is a true example of a prudent person who was able to evaluate her strengths and weaknesses and be creative and resourceful in using them effectively. However, the most interesting thing is that men can do the same. If for some reason a person is predisposed to making decisions, if he has the ability to analyze and adapt his skills regardless of gender, he is considered an intelligent, consistent and successful person. From this point of view, the debate about whether women are really dumber than men seems completely groundless.

A person”s psychological and social upbringing can seriously affect his mental abilities. The most dangerous aspect of this issue is the influence of stereotypes on a growing person. There is an opinion that women are not able to cope with serious problems for which they are responsible because of their emotionality and instability. Whether it”s true or not, this stereotype affects women during development. From all sides they hear that girls must be weak, and there is no place in science for them to be lagging behind in terms of intelligence. And this is why so many people refuse to develop their minds and thoughts in this way, this method only confirms the stereotype that girls are stupider than guys. This is a very sad fact, but it is worth recognizing its existence and its influence on the developing female mind. Research has also been conducted on this topic. Two experimental groups were formed from a whole list of female volunteers. At the first stage of the experiment, each of these groups had to complete a certain number of arithmetic problems. After the first group took the test, it was necessary to determine their attitude towards mathematics. When they filled it out, they were told that the results matched similar tests done on men. In other words, the experiment equalized the mental abilities of men and women. The second group was given the same test and then told that their results were worse than the men. Both groups then had to complete another half of the arithmetic task. Girls who believed their intellectual abilities were equal to men”s improved their scores on this math task. With the help of this “liberation” from stereotypes, they were able to work on the task more calmly.
The results of the second group were worse than in the first attempt to solve the math test. Psychologists are completely convinced that this was due to the increased emotional impact on a woman after her mental abilities were directly influenced by the stereotype that men are inferior. With its help, it was possible to prove how important the influence of stereotypes is on the intellectual abilities of women. However, psychologists are convinced that it can have a similar effect on men. If men are constantly told in childhood that they are more ridiculous than women, this leads to a deterioration in their natural abilities. Unfortunately, in our time no one is protected from this impact. In Russia, most families adhere to conservative views, which leads to the fact that children are very susceptible to various stereotypes. Girls are inspired by the fact that they don”t need education to be happy in life. Being cute and attractive is enough to find the right man. Parents are not to blame for raising their children, since they themselves grew up exactly the same. But then it became clear that some of them could not adapt to the existing reality. Today, these stereotypes are simply irrelevant, and there is no need to impose them on children. Men and women have equal rights and opportunities to move forward in this life. They can engage in science and art and are not forced to strictly follow the outdated behavior patterns of their ancestors.
