High sexual activity improves cognitive functions of the brain!
A number of recent scientific studies show that frequent sex is directly beneficial for our brain.

In 2010, scientists from Princeton University were able to establish a direct link between sexual activity and neuronal growth. The study was conducted on male rats and found that rats that had sex every day for two weeks had greater neuronal growth than rats that were only allowed to have sex once a week. A 2013 study confirmed that daily sexual activity is associated not only with the generation of new neurons, but also with improved cognitive function. The results prove that sex helps rats, but what about humans! Professor Lara Wagner and her colleagues revealed this aspect. Scientists asked 78 heterosexual women aged 18 to 29 about their sex lives. The women were then asked to complete a normal memory task.

The analysis showed that frequency of sexual intercourse directly improved verbal memory. The authors believe that this is related to the function of the hippocampus, as the structure is located deep in the brain. This is the same brain structure that showed neuronal growth in the aforementioned study in male rats.
Another recent study was conducted on people aged 50-89 years. Sexual activity (including foreplay, kissing and cuddling) has also been found to improve memory function. The respondents were male and female, and the findings were independent of gender. We are yet to learn more about this as it is a very important topic to discuss. But now, provocative results show that having sex may actually be a rational thing to do.
