A new study from a mobile signal booster company found that an alarming 100 out of 1, 000 people automatically check their iPhone during sex. Most of these people are between the ages of 18 and 34 and belong to the millennial generation, born with a cell phone in hand. Millennials are picking up their phones two to three times more often than Gen X parents, who were born from the mid-60s to the late 70s.

According to Surecall, which studied the prevalence of this mysterious habit, at least 10% of respondents admitted that they check their phone during sex in the same way as in normal everyday life. Another 43% said they do this not always, but often.
