Such people are unable to feel deep compassion for others. They cannot love compassionately. And sex with a narcissist is just a tool to attract attention and increase self-esteem in order to advance their career. It is therefore logical to assume that sexual narcissism is associated with persistent betrayal.

However, a study conducted by scientists James C. McNulty and Laura Widman Daly Daly, University of North Carolina. 123 married couples took part in the study.
