It”s almost impossible to find someone who doesn”t know about the dangers of unprotected sex, but more and more couples are avoiding using protection. Canadian psychologists working at the University of Guelph decided to find out who refuses contraception and why.

Three groups of people took part in the study
- 157 heterosexuals.
- 177 women who like men.
- 106 homosexuals.
The age of the participants ranged from 18 to 25 years. All of them were interviewed by a psychologist. The latter cited scenarios for the development of intimate relationships as an example in order to get a clear idea of who behaves and how during sexual contact. After completing the stories, respondents were asked to explain why they did what they did. When it came to condoms, the behavior of representatives of different groups differed significantly.

The girls agreed to refuse sex if their partner forgot or did not want to wear a condom.
