Who thinks more about sex per day — women or men?

It is widely believed in society that half of men think about sex more often. Some even claim that they cannot think of anything else. After all, in most cases, women are considered modest and shy. But how can scientists help us understand this?

Sociologists from Ohio University decided to find out who actually thinks about sex during the day. They decided to confirm or deny the fact that men think about sex every seven seconds. To do this, they conducted a sociological survey in which more than 250 people (aged 18-25 years) took part.
Scientists examined 120 men and 163 women. Each subject was given a notepad and pen and had to write down all their feelings. Every time the thought of food appeared in their head, they had to reconsider it in terms of desire for sex, an attractive partner and something else (anything that gives them pleasure). At the beginning of the study, each person spoke in detail about their daily lives and sexual preferences. And already at this stage it turned out that 53% of women are not satisfied with their partners, and 75% want to have sex more often.

These are all words, but the numbers certainly show it. The sociologist processed all the participants’ notes and came to a conclusion. Girls think about sex 15 times a day, and men only 10 times.
