why do some men attract girls, while others remain ignored? If you’re frank, open, and confident, then you’re a clear winner.
Without realizing it, everyone tries to find familiar faces and behavior patterns in their potential partners. Subconsciously, they begin to respect and trust such a person, immediately accepting them into their lives and feeling attracted to them. So, very often, when girls look at a man, they even vaguely associate him with their brothers. They don’t specifically look for a man who would be a spitting image of his brother, but the subconscious can play tricks like that.
Thirty-two women were invited to testify on this claim. They were asked to bring portraits of their brothers or men. In these photographs, the subjects were mixed with photos of celebrities and strangers, which confused and disoriented the subjects.
The women were required to study the photographs for several minutes. Then, they were asked to choose a photo of the man over another person who looked like their boyfriend. Interestingly, almost all study participants chose their brother. This supports the hypothesis that women prefer men who resemble their close parental relatives, although they themselves are not aware of it.
