Scientists have explained why women choose harsh men

Polish scientists from the Jagiellonian Medical University began studying how female reproductive function is related to the manifestation of the male “dark triad”. This psychological term includes such human qualities as Machiavellianism (the tendency to manipulate others), narcissism (glorified narcissism) and psychopathy (ruthlessness and antisocial behavior).
The researchers did not provide statistics, but according to the results they collected, more than half of women prefer men whose faces look very stern and do not express emotions. However, a poker face alone is not enough; it must be diluted with symptoms of narcissism. Women are not only more likely to become addicted to such representatives of the stronger sex, but also give birth to more children.
