How early sexual activity affects subsequent intimate relationships
The first sexual experience and the first sexual partner are forever imprinted in a person’s memory. And they affect the entire intimate life in the future, which many people do not even suspect.

Scientists from the University of Austin in Texas decided to further study the impact of early sexual experience on future fate. About 1, 500 people voluntarily agreed to take part in the study. Experts asked them in detail about their sex lives from the moment they lost their virginity until they were 30 years old.
Then all participants were conditionally divided into three groups. The first group included those who had early sexual activity before the age of 15 years. The second group consisted of participants who lost their virginity between the ages of 15 and 19. The third and final group consisted of people who were late discoverers of the pleasure of sex.

By the standards of my Soviet grandmother, watching pornography can drive any healthy person to incredible events. My Soviet grandmother still is.
The proportion of people who had fairly wealthy families or were in long-term relationships was significantly higher in the third group. People who begin to have an intimate life in adulthood are better able to develop harmonious relationships with the opposite sex. They express their feelings better and know how to express their emotions without neglecting affectionate words — including in bed, which is very important.
For the first and second groups, the statistics were more deplorable. Those who learned about sex early traded in short-term relationships and could not get along with one partner for a long time. How did this happen? Many teenagers lose their virginity out of curiosity rather than out of love.
The first sex may happen with a rough animal driven by instincts, rather than with a sensitive and gentle person. Unpleasant experiences can lead to further isolation and sexual repression, and interfere with relationship building. Scientists have promised to conduct additional research to better understand this issue.
