Most young people cannot imagine their life without the Internet. These days, the Internet seems to replace parents, grandparents and friends. And in fact, you can find everything here: daily advice, new friends, work. You can find something that is not accepted at home — explicit materials about sex. Perhaps this is why casual sex is becoming increasingly accessible to young people.

Researcher Laura Vandenbosch (Professor at Leuven Research School of Mass Communication), who researches the relationship between media and human well-being, conducted a three-part online survey among Dutch teenagers and found that they view pornography and other sexual material, which in most cases leads to casual sex. For them, sex becomes a means of satisfaction rather than a continuation of a romantic relationship. However, professors also found certain benefits from watching teen sex videos. They are increasingly thinking about safe sex and learning to use condoms.
